The FoxFire Foundation is a shamanic-based charity organization that encompasses a school, research, and a ceremonial community founded in 1988.
Now celebrating our 36th year!
The aim of our foundation is to offer high-quality educational programs for shamanic practitioners and the public, to help establish professional standards and best practices within the field of shamanism, and to guide and conduct research on modern shamanic cultures.
We value ethics of good care and safe environments for learning and growth. Our teachers, leaders and community members commit to a high standard of conduct that is informed by respect, self-reflexivity, compassion and continuous learning.
